Full-Time Household Manager Needed for Newborn and Toddler (Arvada, CO)

Pay: $32+/hour
Hours: 32 hours/week, M-TH, 10am - 6:30pm

About The Family:
They are a warm, easy-going family with a 2-year-old son, who is sweet, playful, and full of energy, and a baby girl due in May. They both work in the field of psychotherapy and deeply value kindness, empathy, and understanding. They live in a safe, friendly neighborhood and enjoy time outdoors—walks, visits to local museums, and spending time at the pool during the summer. They are looking for someone who can help them stay organized and keep the home in order so they can focus on quality time with their little ones.

The Role:
They are looking for a full-time household manager who can join their family and provide loving, thoughtful care for their children. Care will mostly be for the newborn, however - sometimes care will be needed for the 2 year old, who is active, curious, and loves engaging play.

Your job will also involve household responsibilities like:

  • Washing and folding children’s clothes

  • Helping with kitchen cleanup (dishes, unloading dishwasher, wiping down surfaces)

  • Meal prep (chopping vegetables, etc.)

  • Organizing toys and books after playtime

  • Running errands (package returns, grocery shopping, etc.)

  • Keeping the house in a general tidy condition

Although their priority is always the care and well-being of the children, they are looking for somebody that see’s when things needs to be done, and does them. They are looking for someone who’s self-motivated, but also feels like part of the family.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Warm, caring, and constructive with children

  • Strong communicator who uses gentle, positive discipline (no shaming or raising voices)

  • Comfortable keeping a daily record of the children’s activities and needs

  • Comfortable with pets (they have a dog who is initially yappy but very sweet-tempered)

  • Willing to help with light household chores and meal prep

  • Interested in developing a long-term, nurturing relationship with their family

  • Somebody with newborn experience is a must.

They’d love to find someone who enjoys being a positive influence on young children, with a calm demeanor and patience to manage tantrums or challenging behaviors. The ideal nanny would be comfortable taking initiative while also working collaboratively with them. They value a peaceful home atmosphere where everyone feels supported.
