Family in Boulder Seeking 25 Hours A Week - Summer Nanny
Location: Boulder, CO
Duration: May 22nd – August 19th, 2025
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM (open to additional hours or weekend help if desired)
Pay: $30 - $35/hour

About the Kids:
5-year-old boy
3-year-old girl
Very active, love building, drawing, and playing outside.
Passionate learners and enjoy hands-on activities.
Sensitive with sensory processing needs; require a nanny with a nurturing and structured approach.
Pets:
Family dog (13 years old, hearing-impaired but very affectionate and loving).
Ideal Nanny:
Personality: Warm, organized, responsible, patient, fun, and active. Must be able to balance a structured routine with a flexible approach.
Experience: Comfortable working with children who have sensory processing needs.
Skills: Strong swimmer (as the family belongs to a pool) and responsible around water.
Values: Caring, nurturing, and respectful of family dynamics.
Requirements:
Must be fully vaccinated.
Non-smoker.
Must be a good driver and willing to use the family vehicle for transportation.
Responsibilities:
Childcare: Provide care and supervision for the 5-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl.
Activities: Engage in creative and educational activities like building, drawing, and outdoor play.
Transportation: Drive kids to and from camps/activities.
Special Considerations: Ensure safe environment for daughter with nut and egg allergies (will have an Epipen and written instructions for handling). Monitor and manage the children’s asthma (they both have inhalers available).
Discipline: Gentle, positive reinforcement; help resolve conflicts between the kids and maintain structure when needed.
Family Dynamics:
Parents may be working from home or at an office nearby.
Laid-back, hands-on family with a warm and chill atmosphere.
Family treats their nanny like part of the family, but expects the role to be approached with professionalism and responsibility.
Additional Details:
Vehicle provided for work-related driving.
Must be available for full-time work during the stated hours. Potential additional hours if desired (not required).
